mid minnesota | Bought a new to us 1770 16row box planter with dry fertilizer, vaccum, 2 motors.
Followed the instructions of hooking the vacuum up to priority #1 remote. This planter came with motors plumbed separate and no valve control block like our 8 row 1750 had on it.
Was told we can plumb both vac motors to run off 1 remote. 7140 has only 3 remotes, #1 is both vac motors, #2 is up down folt etc. #3 cross auger for fertilizer. Told you adjust vacuum on the hyd control dial in cab for vaccum.
#1 is set in float position when vacuum is not engaged. Alos note do have the case drain and is hooked up.
When I run the vaccum, no seed in it yet, I can only get about 5 lbs of pressure. Planter has e-sets told to run 10-12 I'm no where near there. The adjustment inside the came does not change anything and when the vacuum is engaged the planter won't lift or lower?!?!
