SW WI | It’s been years since I’ve used our bread machine. Ahhh……memories of warm, melted butter fresh bread. But that was close to 50 lbs ago on a high carb and sugar laden existence.
I do remember the occasional heavier than a paperweight bread. I think for me it was keeping fresh yeast around helped with that. And of course, water and a little experiment with the settings. Seems like I remember the order of adding ingredients was very important for consistency, also.
I don’t miss sweets or soda but do miss that warm buttery bread. | |
