1) the more 'permanent' the more comfortable it will be
2) many, many people put an 'office' in their shop, and deduct it as a business expense - not sure how you'd do that with a camper or cabin.
3) if you have bad weather, the barn will be a safer place to be than a camper or cabin unless the camper is inside the building, but that kind of defeats the purpose.
