Been building/rebuilding some terraces on reclaimed ground. I was curious what the professionals do as far as the channel slope? Measured one terrace and at 80 paces (240ish ft) the drop was only a foot. Which is .4% if my math is correct? Rebuilt one and it got to be closer to a 1% slope. Is that going to be too steep? Soil is on the tighter clay side. Tia.
