Swap an engine that never had a factory roller cam and a transmission without a lockup converter? Plus making a transfer case work if Blazer is 4x4?
To OP, Vortec 350 had acceptable power in stock form, roller cam, and would bolt right up. 1406 Edelbrock works great and simple. Would not eat up much of your budget.
