"Why Canadians seem touchy about being the 51st state"

Touchy ????

Touchy !!!!!

Are you serious ? We are Waaaaay beyond Touchy on this one.

Our neighbouring country is trying to ANNEX us and is using Economic Force to weaken us.

And you think we are a bit "touchy" about it ?

I farm within the City Limits of the Capital City of Canada.... Ottawa. I live 20 minutes from Parliament Hill.

We are situated about 1 hour north of the American border. If Trumpy lost his cool and made the call...there could be tanks in Downtown Ottawa within 3 hours of the call.

He Wants Canada. He wants our Oil, our Steel, our Aluminum, our Hydro Electric Capacity, our Lumber, and our DAIRY Market.

and as far as I can tell He is very serious about getting it. He also Wants Greenland for its Metals.

International Security is a smokescreen for this Land Push.

How is Trump wanting to take our resources any different than what you folks in Central Canada have been doing to us in the west since I don't know... the 1870's!? I'm sick of you guys in Ontario and Quebec now draping yourselves in the flag and saying elbows up while you continue to willingly rape the west. I don't think either the Americans or the central Canadians understand just how much we have had it with both of you of late. Trump basically re-elected the Liberals all on his own. Which in in turn means the deal that comes out of this trade bs will undoubtedly favor the eastern unions and western Canada be damned. I'm done with the red and white flag, I consider myself an Albertan alone now.
