Cedar Rapids, Iowa | We had been planting with a Case IH Magnum for years. Seems like everything we read was that an articulated tractor was awesome for planting, so we got one. The extra height is nice, but that's it. The darn thing won't pull the planter as straight as a MFWD. Any steering input makes the hitch pin move sideways a little bit, and it shows up in the planted rows. We gave up after one season and went to a Magnum RowTrac. Much better platform for planting. | |
