Im not being a safety nazi,,,but you said for your family.Back in High school,friend rolled his,top came off ,another friend paralyzed,get the retro fit kit with roll bar as I believe the 72 has the fiberglass top that pops off in a wreck.Just saying ,,he lead kind of a rough life,passed a few years back.I believe GMC had to pay to help his life out as top was very poor design.
Yes I agree. The hinges on the back window are cracked out and I was thinking about roll bar with soft top for the time being until I can find a better hard top |
