I had an early grade schoolteacher that had us use our initial instead of names on our assignments in our class of under 25. She said it’s faster, and automatic whose it is when you work with small groups. A few had the same first and last, so they had to use the middle initial as well.
This reminded me of my little sister’s first grade class. She was one of two Rachels in the class. Both had the same last name initial so using that didn’t work. They had the same middle initial too.
