We like them. We put them on the whole corn planter last year after comparing them on a couple of rows the year before. Wear seemed similar between the two types. Seed placement seems to be more consistent to me because instead of forming a V like traditional openers, they form more of a U which seems to allow seed to get to bottom of the trench easier. It also seems like the closing wheels have a little easier time closing the trench behind them as well.
