Cutting the stock market down to size would correct a lot of things. It would change people’s confidence to not spend like drunken sailors, and allow rates to be lowered. Inflation is as much physcology and anything.
In the past 30 years the greedy stock market has created lots of paper millionaires and billionaires..Overvalued stocks have helped to fuel inflation as much as anything..Lots just dont like to hear this..
