Ross County, Ohio | Ive been in the pool twice. Once was a theft case. The defense attorney asked," Does anyone have an issue with a defendant not testifying in their own defense? Then he asked, if anyone had an issue with "alleged" video footage of a crime being disputed? I answered the first question with,"Yes, I'm sitting here screaming I didn't do it,if I did not do it!' The second question I said," Yes I do! When there is a video of you receiving stolen goods and the person your dealing with says anything resembling," It's hot, but it won't burn you.' WINK, WINK. That's a sign. Set up or not you chose from that point to incriminate yourself. Just admit you took it knowing. Take your medicine and stop wasting my time and the taxpayers money," The judge actually giggled, and then I was excused. The other time I let them know what I thought of being threatened in the jury process and the judicial system in general. Haven't been selected for the pool since.
