Ross County, Ohio | What really fires me up is in the letter you receive the statement,"Jury duty is a right and a privilege." then that staement is followed by,"failure to appear or show good cause for noncompliance with the summons maybe be fined $1000, or imprisoned not more than three day, or both". That just seals it for me. Its a right and a privilege, but your telling me I'm going to be arrested or fined my hard earned money, if I don't or can't comply for whatever reason. Regarding threatening me regarding my rights and privileges; If they'd leave out the threats I'd be all in. I don't believe in the justice system anymore, because it's broken. I told a Judge all that the last time they called me in. He dismissed me. | |
