I tried to use a dmi crumble a couple of years ago. If you spray it tall, let the stalk die off some, then roll it, it works. But if you leave it just a touch green, it will pop back up. I don't think a cultipacker will get it done. I used this crumbler at about 12mph to try to snap/crimp the stalks. A cultupacker probably has too many gaps to allow for escapes, and speed will be pretty hard on it.
