The idea of joining together and forming one NEW country sounds intriguing. Think Canada, US, Greenland, merging and calling it a new name. Think of it as a corporate merger. It makes sense for most and would make all of us a lot stronger and safer. Move the capitol to someplace besides D.C..I know it will NEVER happen as us old patriots would ultimately rather send our kids and grandchildren off to kill each other for love of country, King or Queen, etc. than to give up our past glory and history. We Americans love war as much as anyone. I know I’m sounding harsh, but we all need to cooperate more, look forward, and avoid the name calling. The world has changed from the WW2 post war era. Europe just isn’t that important anymore , and like the Middle East , they will never get along. The future is Asia. We need some strategic alliances to strengthen everyone’s hand. The days of the US as being the head honcho have been over for a while. We are just waking up to it now. And yes, Canadians are wonderful people and the country is beautiful. It’s our government on both sides that need a lot of work
