Northeast Indiana | I've lost 60lbs over the last year. I was up over 240lbs, now down to around 180. I have a protein shake and coffee for breakfast, the same for lunch, then for dinner I eat whatever I want. I actually prefer to not really eat much during the day. I always feel tired if I eat a full meal for breakfast or lunch, and then, I don't feel much like doing the work I need to get done. With just having the protein shakes, I'm good to work all day. If for some reason I get in from working a little early before dinner, for a snack I'll have carrots and celery with ranch. Helps me to get some vegetables, keeps the calories down, and is still fulfilling.
Edit: For dinner, my wife and I like to keep a meat source that is easily heated up. I'll smoke a brisket or pork shoulder, and we can eat on that for a week. If I don't smoke anything, my wife will make up a couple large packs of bacon. Its easy to reheat, and we can eat 4 or 5 strips of bacon as a good protein source for dinner. I'll eat carbs with dinner whenever I feel like it, and a dessert 1 or 2x a week, but having a good source of protein around all week to eat on has really helped to curb our appetite.
