| I had rotator cuff surgery in Jan 2017. 7 weeks before I was able to start therapy. Therapy lasted till that July. Therapist said it was the worst rotator cuff tear she had ever handle & predicated I would need shoulder replacement in 5 years. Still going but I do get a “catch” in it every so often.
I was able to operate a tractor that spring. I did our spraying that spring as well . Hardest part was handling 52# bags of dry and. At the time I was on a 20# weight limit with that shoulder. When therapist found out she chewed me out but I told her I only lifted 20# with that shoulder & 32# with the other. I don’t think she believed me. LOL
It took about a year fbefore the shoulder felt “normal “. FWIW, I was 65 when I had surgery. First major surgery I ever had. | |
