Central Alberta | ...is what I'm hearing here, more and more. The signs are still subtle; cans of Hormel Spam are being shadowed by the Canadian equivalent, Klik.
I don't notice much of a difference, except to open the can, you have to use the old "key" which was how they all opened back in the day.
While it's not much of a hue and cry to battle, it is starting to ramp up. I can't say I'm sorry to see our local producers getting a boost.
God knows, they need a break after having most of our industries decimated by American dumping over the years. There's hardly an apple orchard left after that happened. | |
