Excellent news for the few independents that are left. Bullish hog report. Add the news of Sunterra going bankrupt and this might be a great year to feed hogs. However the threat of tariffs always in the air
That makes sense. Close the borders to imports and exports. That'll drive the price up.
FYI, Canada hog producers have a lot more to lose at the border than US guys do.
Canada sends a whole lot more pork/hogs to the USA than what you take back.
