Southern Missouri | Delta lives in cotton area , speaking of which, cotton price is currently averaging very close ,around 65 cents ,to same as did in 1980 to 1985 , we had Reaganesq spending policies during those years , Corn and Soybeans were averaging 2.50 to 3.50 and 5.90 to 7.00 most of the time during that period , so need to remember in delta’s defense that farm economics in crop prices terms are pretty depressing in cotton areas currently | |
