North Central Kansas
It retains quality really well. Also seems to eliminate nitrates by letting it run it's normal life cycle and freezing and they don't eat all the lower stalk where nitrates are concentrated.
I am not hating on anyone swathing it, but I don't see how applying any machinery to this makes it better. By leaving it standing and grazing, it leaves even residue.
I drive the 4 wheeler where I want the fence, gives you a chance to adjust if you don't like the line. You could also use your tractor if you wanted to.
Tmrand Please send me an email. If you've been wanting to try it, I have alot of experience over the last 15 years.
