NS Canada | On the network side of things, I am able to connect to the camera system from my laptop in the house, So I am communicating that much atleast. I don't have DHCP selected - would it always be assigning a new IP to the NVR itself? Or would it handle assigning to each camera? I need to know what the IP of the NVR is, as that is how I log into the viewing program on internet explorer.
I don't see any sign of what the camera addresses are when I log in remotely - the menu seems limited. I would have to haul the NVR into the house and wire it directly to get into the main menus, where it may tell me - but thats a pain, and I can't take down all the cameras to test them in the house anyways without a bunch of work. So I couldn't assign addresses that way, without having to disconnect everything and reinstall it all in the barns.
The only 2 things i know in this list are the ip of the NVR (.15) and the gateway (.1) of the router, beyond that I don't know what the settings are/ how they are interacting with my modem/ etc
