another 10' at home to get above the trees if clear line of sight is required.

Range wise, what mx270a suggested will work, or what I suggested (airMAX NanoStation M2) will work at 3 miles distance, but wind wise, the Ubiquiti LBE-5AC-GEN2-US will be more affected by higher wind speeds, so more stress on the pole, and a chance of rotating the device in a high wind condition.. And most likely, a weight difference between them, with M2 being lighter, so less stress on a pole.

On another note, there are two different models of the airMAX NanoStation with these specs

airMAX NanoStation M2 $89.00
27 dBm TPO
11 dBi antenna

airMAX NanoStation M2 loco $49.00
23 dBm TPO
7 dBi antenna

IIRC, M2 has a range of some 9 miles, and LBE-5AC-GEN2 some 18 miles, but LBE-5AC-GEN2 has to be pointed more precisely. 11 dBi antenna is better than a 7 dBi antenna
