Anyone using whole wheat, grinding for flour and then baking?  If so, where do you buy your wheat from?   We have HRW here, but was wanting to try White or some other types.  

I see it for sale on sites, but seems a bit expensive.   Just wondering if there was  a go to place?  



My mother grinds her own flour for her bread. Only used hard white wheat. But the bakery/farm (Wheat Montana) right down the road grows and bags it so it's easy to get.

From what I have read, high protein and high falling numbers are the key well risen bread.
