| I walk a fair bit, but don't jog or run. For me strength training and stretching has helped for the situations you are talking about. Just finished a hike that was .7 miles one way and had over 700 feet of elevation gain. Some of it was steps from 6" rise to 18" rise. Then you get to go back down. Strength training not only helps lift you up the steps, but lets you step down easier while being more sure footed. | |
