Safety? What's safer about a Michelin? Don't ever remember blowing a car tire of any brand. There's no weight on a car.
The Michelins wear so long because the rubber is so hard.
On 10 ply pickup tires they have the worst traction of any tire made.
If they were such a slam dunk at twice the price the other tire companies wd be out of business.
