A lot of things make food prices higher: diesel particulate filters, Def, low suffer diesel, draconian trucker work hour rules, union labor, health insurance costs, property taxes from school spending, green electricity, fica taxes, fuel prices, carbon pipelines.
The above is all forced on those that can name their price for a supermarket product. No wonder food is high.
Does ethanol have to be required by the government in order to be used in blended gas? It actually cheapens the gas up.
