I have no experience using anything but Unifi cameras but they have been adding features to their Protect software.  Their community forum says this....

UniFi Protect supports ONVIF, which allows for the integration of third-party security cameras, including Zmodo cameras, into the UniFi ecosystem. However, this support is limited to streaming and video storage. Features such as analytics, audio playback, and pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) control are not supported for third-party cameras.
