SEIL | It’s one of the best, worst drugs there is. They call it the feel good drug, for the side effect of making you feel good all over for those that can tolerate it. My Mom was on a low dose for a multitude of problems related to arthritis. It helped her tremendously, but because of the long term side effects they made her stop it. She ended up being on fentanyl patches. Prednisone can cause brittle bones. I had an Uncle that took Prednisone his whole life, mainly for knee problems and did just fine. Another side effect is weight gain, irritability is another ugly one. | |
