| Depends as much on the cow as the bull. We hang fly socks in a runway they need to go through to get water and keep them on free choice mineral year round (summer time we put out fly control mineral) and don’t give pigmentation much thought to be honest. I asked our vet about Herefords and pink eye and she didn’t see any higher rate in her practice. Also thinks the prolapse issue is overblown, but that doesn’t make for good coffee shop banter. | |
