Subject: RE: Considering a switch from Trimble to Ag Leader steering

Beaverton, Ontario
Thanks for the info, I can see pluses and minuses to Ag Leaders way of doing things. I watched this tutorial video on youtube about managing and creating guidance lines and it explained the grouping feature which makes sense to use for all the headland lines.

On the plus side if you trim back a fencerow or anything else that requires you to change your headland guidance you would only need to recreate the line for that side of the field and not redo the entire headland as I have to do now with FMX's
The negative is definitely having to manually switch between lines. After watching that video it makes me wonder why they can't have an option to load all lines within a "group" simultaneously.

One question I still have is, if creating curved lines does it extend the line in both directions past the A and B points like a normal A-B line does? That would allow for curved lines to follow a headland but still extend straight into a corner.
