Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | When I got my 9770 used some years ago, the previous owner had used the Deere system. He kept the display he had been using but the mass flow sensor and moisture assembly remained with the combine.
I wanted to go with an Ag Leader system so I removed the Deere moisture sensor and mass flow sensor. The system then complained that it couldn't find the moisture sensor which of course, was true.
Instructions from Ag Leader directed me to an an 8 digit number where each digit indicated a combine feature through the Command Arm display. One of the digits referred to the yield monitor. To inform the combine that I no longer wanted to use the Deere yield monitoring system required changing one of the 8 digits. I wrote down the original 8 digit number and reentered it with the change. This silenced the alarms.
I was able to sell the Deere moisture assembly to a local combine shop since they had use for it due to all the failures. I still have the Deere mass flow sensor on the shelf if someone is interested. I assume it works.
Changing the digit for the OP would silence the alarms but he would not have any yield monitoring then so the other suggestions such as fixing the Deere moisture assembly appears necessary.
