Here, I like drilled beans above everything else. 1. I own a nt drill and need to use it. 2. They shade the ground much faster than any other method to my knowledge, here. 3. I can cut any direction if desired. I shoot for 160k at planting, but probably go a little less. Drilled beans will look thin for quite some time. If they look really pretty and thick within 3 weeks of planting you have planted too thick, imo.
