Red combines are the best. For the money you will get more machine than a green one and they are much simpler. Only 6 belts and 4 chains. Most of the machine is CVT/pto shaft driven. Only couple zerks a day to grease. It’s incredible how simple they are compared to a green S series. Have pulled the feederhouse off and pulled rotor out by ourselves and I wouldn’t call myself an expert mechanic, just a broke kid trying to give this farming thing a go.
