NC IA | Like others said, pretty much the same combine but the S670 will have a larger clean grain elevator like the S680 has (not sure if it was standard or optional to get this). 670 will have around 50 more hp. Could have some more standard items that are optional on a 660, such as heavier lift cylinders.
I have a 14' S660 with def (later 14' machines had def, early ones did not). I found it to be a slouch compared to the 9670 it replaced, we had it tuned to 670 HP and its made a huge difference. I run a 35 ft bean head, that's where you need the power. On corn it just cruises along with a 8 row head (non chop) w/o issue. | |
