Subject: RE: Who’s using Pursuit

Pursuit is not a formulation of several herbicides.  It is a Group 2 - ALS - herbicide.  So, if you have Group 2 resistant weeds, it will not control those resistant weeds.  However, it will help with grasses and non-resistant broadleaf weeds.  I recall Pursuit coming out in the 1980's, so it has been around a while. I recall Pursuit and Prowl being sold as a complete residual program on soybeans when it came out.

I has a fairly significant residual. I believe some guys were encountering carryover on corn, and that is what helped it to loose favor, especially in the corn belt.  If using it, you need to look at Crop Rotation restrictions.
