In my experience,that $15 acre saved will probably cost you more at harvest, I quit planting pioneer years ago when it couldn't stay standing in a wind storm and was always behind on yield when compared to other varieties. Just my experience.
Quit making decisions based on data that is 10 yrs old. Even the diehard DeKalb guys are changing here
