Subject: RE: Solar Leases on Crop Ground

Floyd County, Iowa
At first signup it's an easement to your property, and you get paid something per acre (the amount varies, evidently, and you're not supposed to let that information out). This says they have access to your property anytime they wish, for anything they want (relative to the energy generation process). The turbine easements around here also limit hunting, building development, and tree planting. They don't guarantee you a turbine or solar panels. They may just trench a bunch or underground lines through your property. They may just have the storage battery facility on your land.
