I liked planting it that way, and it usually looks great this time of year, but I couldn't get it to yield like drilled wheat. I didn't want to buy a drill so I started broadcasting it and then working in with disk and cultipacker. Much happier
That's been my fear, I decided the only way to know is to try it.
