I am attaching a soil test. Looking at samples 1, 3, 4 and 8. The high sodium is from a periodically high water table. 3, 4 and 8 are basically white and dont grow anything. We are getting ready to lime this field. I'm not a soil scientist, but my initial thought is overliming these areas to bring up calcium levels to compete with the sodium? Bring the pH up to like 7.8? Are the CECs too low to where I'd be killing the crop with high pH before I diluted the Na to non toxic levels?

Tile isn't an option here. No outlet and too low of yield ceiling to pay for tile, pump, electricity hookup and yearly pumping costs.

The problem here is the salt has tied everything up. My company has a product that unhardens water and soil. It will breakdown salt from a compound to a simple salt while buffering pH and increase oxygen levels. Simple salts can flush through soil and can also be used by plants for energy.

When added to water in a sprayer, it breaks down the salts in herbicide and fertilizer.

This is way more affordable than adding more things that will keep it tied up.
