ecmn | How hard would it be to leave a strip, 5 ft, 10 ft wide along an edge of this field?
In that strip don't plant it or spray it. Work it loke the rest of the field but seed in a heavy rate of buckwheat, little mustard,oats,brassicas,Italian rye grass and clover.
Soil test that spot the next spring and the rest of the field separately and see what happens.
My guess will be that the buckwheat area with no P added will have a much higher P reading.
