yep

under low cycle environment you might get another week or 2 but under optimal weather for disease 3 weeks is it.

also a function of grain fill. the longer the grain fill the bigger the risk. which ironically is usually conditions that make it thrive

plant health is big too, stressed acres get eaten live very quickly after that 3-4 week period. Tar spot loves plants that are outta gas, it will destroy leaves being cannibalized to fill an ear and just keep going
