Sorry, but there is a worthless dog breed right there.


You've never been around one in varmit control situations apparently.

Dogs like Pugs and Bulldogs and Chihuahuas are what I consider worthless breeds. Terriers will go after anything racoon sized and under. big sow coons and rockchucks they will get tore up a little as a pup and learn real quick to wait for its master to put a .22LR in it first to level the playing field before tearing into it.


I tell people that our Jack Russell cleaned out a lot of the varmints in our area. I haven't seen one rhinoceros or elephant out back causing damage for example since we had him!

They are almost scary fearless. They go after a mouse with the same gusto as a woodchuck or a coon. Ours tackled an English Bull Mastiff once. It would have killed it had we not intervened.
