North Central Illinois | Seems like clicker summed up the reason pretty well. Money is getting a little tight in the farm economy and if it stays that way there'll be more downward pressure on input prices. The ag lobbyists don't lobby as much for our interests as they do the interests of the companies that farm the farmers.
I agree that one might as well cash the checks (though they're working hard to get us all on direct deposit now), but I'll complain to my representatives anyhow.
