| I Have cleaned my own cover crop seed for several years now. I Do about 20,000 bu/yr. Been a real pain setting up and taking down several augers. also putting useless hours on tractors for the different phases of cleaning grain. I have a scalper, drum cleaner, and air cleaner. I plan to build a trailer to mount all of the equipment on, I can clean anywhere from 1,000-1300 bu/hr. Does anybody have recommendations for setting up several augers on a trailer to speed up setup and takedown time? Would I be better off using electric augers with a breaker panel probably be under 40 amps to run it all, and i have 50amp outlets on each of my bins. Or doing hydraulic power unit so I can setup anywhere? It is for seed so would like to be as gentle as possible with capability to spin 1500 bu/hr through the augers. Any insight or ideas are appreciated! | |
