Most importantly you want something with less than 350 hp because it is wrong for to own a truck that is fun to drive.  And forget about tuning it or turning it up.  It will blow up before you leave the yard with it.  Also, it can't have anything emissions related or Eaton Autoshift.  Lastly, when you get a trailer it must be spring ride because air bags will cause you problems in about 10 years and make the trailer ride nicer.
