Not much love for the red on this post it seems. The early mxs had electrical gremlins and hyd hoses blow under the cab. I run a 215 magnum a lot, and I love if, it's gen 3 of the new style magnums, so enough improvement over the 200s.
But it has very nice cab good hydraulics, runs great with the 8.3 cummins. If you look at case I'd go newer than a 200

Even my friends who run deere 8000s seem to spend some decent coin keeping them going, even though here in agtalk world No one ever lays a wrench on the 8000 deeres.


Figure $5 to $6/hr in repairs to keep a JD 8000 going. We have a handful over 20k hours and one over 30k hours
