Nebraska | Only time worn out arms will cause planter issues is when your in mud, the wheels don't stay tight to the disk and it packs mud in the wheels and stops. I've got some wore out arms too, I grease them with moly grease and that actually stays in them for a day at a time. Yield checked 270 corn this fall from my "wore out planter" so i'm not too concerned about a little slop in my guage arms, disks and closing wheels are wayy more important to keep in check. | |
