Thanks for all the input, right now I am leaning towards attempting to repair the Kinze, then maybe trading next year. This one is broke where the center field lift cylinders attach to the tongue section. The post is also broken badly at the bottom where it rotates. I think the toolbar will have to come off the post to repair this. Right now my plan is to obtain a new center post (do this first so I'm sure I have have it, not trust the parts guy that they "will have it" in a week). Then unfold the planter and lower it to planting position, then cut the post just above the toolbar slide, then lift with 2 maybe 3 payloaders the frame up off the post, then pull the tongue out from under the toolbar, then somehow set the toolbar down on the ground without dropping/tipping. Once that is done I can back the tongue into the shop, remove the rest of the post, and attempt a repair on the tongue. I don't really have a good plan for re assembly yet, but I am curious if anybody has ever removed and reinstalled a toolbar from the post before. This is a 16 row 30" 3660 with 3 liquid fertilizer tanks and ASD, about 2013 model.
