Subject: RE: Compact tractors.

I used a John Deere 3033E ( I think that correct model number ) that belonged to to a farm I take care of. It ok for using a 5 foot rotary cutter, or three point hitch disk behind it. Also great for using a 55 gallon spot sprayer on it with a hand gun, the HST transmission makes it nice spraying weeds and brushes. But it little to narrow to use on uneven ground or on steep ground.
I think it because a person sits higher in the seat it cause the rocking motion going over uneven ground feel like you going to turn over.
I think in the compact tractor sizes the next size up that a little wider and more horsepower would make it a more comfortable and stable tractor, but not sacrificed handling. I don’t know if you are thinking used or new, but going to a dealership that got a big selection of different sizes compact tractors and checking them out to get feel of what you want.
